Review on πŸ”Œ Ginsco Dual USB Charger Socket Power Outlet 4.2A for Car Boat Marine RV Mobile with Wire Fuse DIY Kit - Blue LED by James Bartels

Revainrating 3 out of 5

More than the original connector that requires car panel cutting. Works great

Ease of installation varies widely from car to car but I had to remove the dash and center console before I could replace the faulty connector with this one. I removed the sprockets from "Easy to Install" not because I had to disassemble most of the car but because at that point I realized it was more than a standard accessory port so I had to drill the hole at the undercut enlarge on the dashboard of my car. If you are inexperienced in causing this type of "damage" to your car or are uncomfortable with it, look for a standard accessory connector. Removing it later to replace it with a standard hole would be very problematic due to the larger hole you will likely need. Port, it would make more sense to install it as USB charging adapters always want to get out of the standard accessory ports on long car trips. A dedicated USB charger is a great upgrade over a USB charger adapter, even if your old port works great but needs to be REALLY smaller.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Working speed
