Review on 💜 everydrop by Whirlpool Ice & Water Filter 1, EDR1RXD1, Single-Pack - Purple by Drew Beckett

First purchase in September: product arrived in original packaging, fits well and works perfectly. Update #2 March 12: Went for water and got hit. After opening the filter cartridge compartment, the paper towel I used to line the cartridge is now wet. Remade the paper towel (slightly thicker) and when I came back to check a few hours later the paper towel was wet again. Just requested a refund. I'll try to buy from a regular store to see if I have better luck or even try to find an alternative. Let's see what works! Update March 12th: Bought again but had trouble installing. I heard a knock, and then no water flowed. Searched worldwide for "how to fix" and found it in a YouTube video. The last cartridge I received was a little smaller than the previous one so when you closed the filter compartment lid it closed completely. So, following the advice from the YouTube video, I placed a folded sheet of paper towel (about 1/4 sheet rolled) between the cartridge and the door and voila - it worked with no issues! No knocking and water flows freely. Will update again if that changes soon!
