Review on πŸ‘œ Pelican 1609: Lid Organizer for 1600 Case with Ballistic Nylon by Dustin Woodrow

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad product. - Diving and Snorkeling

As the owner of several Pelikan products, I was confident that this would not be a problem for me either. This particular organizer with lid has five openwork zippered pockets, two nylon pockets with velcro flap, three thin slim pockets without flap used to store pens, toothbrushes etc. There is a pocket with a window for issuing a driver's license or other identification. Also. Finally, there is a nylon main pocket with no zipper or flap. The entire organizer has a hard backing made of what appears to be plastic. This case comes with 7 short screws and double sided tape to attach the organizer to your Pelican's cover. Overall I'm happy with this product, but wish the other compartments had either zippers or velcro. That's fine with normal use, but once baggage handling is done anything you had in other open compartments could end up elsewhere. Also, I would like the material of the tray to be something other than nylon. Either way it's still a great product and I would probably buy another organizer for another one of my pelicans. I gave this a four out of five star rating due to the thin nylon and lack of flaps or zippers to latch the product. Pelican gives the case five stars so I know they can make this organizer just as durable. Conclusion: A great product from a great company.
