I bought this product because my laptop only has a microphone and headphone jack and I wanted one of each. However, after installing the driver, the product worked normally. The same day I started using this product, my original port for EVERYTHING I plugged in stopped working. Now I need to use this device for something other than laptop speakers. My laptop no longer seems to recognize my external speakers. I thought it might be something else but I plugged in a pair of headphones and it worked with the device but now I can't use the headphones on anything other than this POS. It destroyed one of the main functions of my laptop, which I'm not sure I can recover, and now a good pair of headphones too. There are also photos of this product melting during use. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT, IT WAS INCORRECTLY CREATED AND WILL DESTROY YOUR HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE.
