If you read online you will see that everyone agrees not to buy a cheap fuel pump for your Jimmy/Blazer. I was a little apprehensive at first, as was another reviewer, when I saw that the spring support and screen were missing, but the absence of these parts is part of Acdelco's redesign. I know for sure as I contacted them directly about my problem. The pump comes with a reconditioned wiring harness that needs to be installed in place of the old wiring harness. This is because the old square four-pin connector has a design flaw and can fail prematurely. There is also an internal filter inside the device. Yes, this pump requires PITA to install, but you'll save hundreds of dollars by doing the job yourself.
