🔧 GM Genuine Parts Fuel Pump and Level Sensor Module MU1733 - Includes Seal, Float, and Harness Review

Bought for my GMC 99 Jimmy. It was taken to a local shop who did the installation for me. Having never seen one I cannot comment on the quality of this pump assembly but it works very well. My truck starts instantly when I turn the key (much faster than before) and I've put about 2000 miles on the new pump.

The pump and gauge were easy to install in my tank. However, depending on the vehicle you have, removing and replacing the fuel tank can be a headache. Much easier if you have an extra person. Over the years I have used ACDelco products on my Chevy trucks with little to no problems. Parts can be a bit more expensive but I always try to use OEM when I can.

If you read online you will see that everyone agrees not to buy a cheap fuel pump for your Jimmy/Blazer. I was a little apprehensive at first, as was another reviewer, when I saw that the spring support and screen were missing, but the absence of these parts is part of Acdelco's redesign. Well, I'm a bit offended here. In the picture of this you can see that it has a mesh filter at the bottom. Did he come with one? Of course not. I was happy to receive it so quickly and well packaged but when I opened the box I wasn't pleased to see that it wasn't like the picture. Wrong gasket for steel tank, pump tab had to be removed because fuel lines were in the wrong place. No colander included or even room for one. You list it as ac deco and then say ac deco in partnership with others should have been my first warning.
