Review on 🌬️ High Performance Nordic Pure 20X25X1M12 6 Pleated Furnace Filter by Bohyun Hansen

I have purchased a pack of 6 Nordic Pure Merv 8 filters 20x25x1 through Revain at least 3 times and have been happy with my purchases. When the Revain purchase arrived, something was clearly different. The Nordic Pure box itself was cardboard-colored, not white. Okay, no problem, maybe it was just eco-friendly packaging. However, when I opened the box, it looked like it had been re-taped after opening it earlier. It seemed strange. My fears increased after opening the box. In previous shipments, each filter was individually wrapped in plastic with a Nordic Pure sleeve as shown on the Revain product page. When last delivered, the filters were in place and had no sleeve. Perhaps this was also for environmental reasons, but by that time I was already on the alert. I took one of the old filters and compared it to the new one. (See attached images. Ignore the fact that the old filter is darker - it's a used filter.) Unlike the old filters, the new ones have no size or rating markings. So why should they do it? The icing on the cake was that comparing one of the old filters to the new one revealed that the new one only had 20 pleats instead of the old filter's 25. Obviously I had no way of knowing which filter I had received. and whether it was really made by Nordic Pure. Maybe they're just shipping the junk they've outsourced. Or maybe it's just classic bait and switch. Regardless, this is unacceptable. I immediately scheduled a return via Revain and will never buy from Nordic Pure again.
