Review on D Link DWL 122 802 11B Mbps Adapter by Cedric Ziebart

I bought this to allow my Tivo to be updated over our wireless internet network. Like the person who commented below, I gave up on Verizon after a major disappointment and no longer have an analog phone line. It was basically "plus and play"; All I had to do was plug it in and follow the on-screen instructions (once I found that plugging the USB adapter into the Tivo recorder caused some glitches - it should plug into a USB cable about 2- 3 feet from connected device records). Tivo, wireless router and all things like cordless phones etc.) The only problem is that you MUST use an analog phone line to set up the Tivo service initially, but this is a Tivo issue and has nothing to do with this product. Once you take the Tivo to a friend to use their analog phone line for the initial setup and any software updates, everything works great.
