Not looking for anything special or really pretty seems to fit the bill. The webbing seems quite strong as advertised. The problems relate to the basic design. There are actually 2 "clips" on this buckle. The one for the original trim (which is then clamped and theoretically never fiddled with again) and the main clamp you use every time you put it on. Unfortunately, the main clamp seems to be stronger than the "disposable" gauge clamp. Every time I remove the built-in by lifting the buckle, the calibration clip comes loose. Really bad design. This clamp must be difficult to clamp and will never want to move again. Instead, it seems like it's the one that always comes off, leaving you with a piece of webbing and a piece of plastic that doesn't really serve as a strap until you take it off, disassemble it, and try to buckle it on your belt. end again.
