Nice looking shelf when installed - otherwise I would have only given it one star. It took four times as long to install because the mounting hardware is so ridiculously cheap it took a third. - Using my own components to complete the bracket assembly with what appears to be a solid body. The plastic hollow dowels were so cheap and soft it was impossible to screw a screw in. In the end I just had to drive them into the drywall and went back to screw-in cavity wall anchors I bought at Home Depot. Then when you could tighten the screws, they pulled out the metal of the bracket and/or cleaned the drive slots. They're not made of the right metal for the job. The bracket had a second screw hole. I used this hole and the screws that came with the cavity wall anchors and finally had a secure hold. By the way, there are two screws and anchors for each bracket and the instructions only mention using one of them. ? If you buy one of these, expect more installation time and effort than you expect based on the materials, and expect your own components to be made from construction-grade material.
