I can say right away that this brake control works great. The clear display and controls are easy to use while driving. I am very disappointed that the down button started sticking with me about a month after purchase. Used 4 or 5 times My trailer's brakes were completely disabled while driving. I had to pull to release the button. I didn't spill anything on him. I've read some other cases of this happening and was hoping I'd get a good one. Obviously there is a button design flaw or poor quality control. I still use the device as is, but it's painful. Now I have to find time to take care of the warranty service. Also, the display turns off but the device never turns off completely when connected to my 02 Silverado Duramax. There was a noticeable battery drain after the truck sat for a few days. I started unplugging and storing the controller when the truck is parked and now everything is fine.
