This scooter was a great purchase, at first I was put off by the price. There are many cheaper scooters out there, the problem is you get what you pay for. You can buy three cheap scooters or one long-term one. If your kid, like me, is into skate parks and doing tricks, you don't want anything to break in the process. Not only will your scooter break, it also increases the likelihood that your child will be injured. The scooter is solid and high quality, I do not regret the purchase. I will buy another one when my youngest starts riding too. Don't try to save a few bucks and sacrifice product safety, that's what you need.
