We need a thin wire cable lock to secure our RV's surge protector to a utility pole. This cable is just the right size to pass through the small hole on the surge protector for this purpose. The only downside is that it has a key lock and not a combination lock, so it's another very small key to keep an eye on. We've also found that if the lock isn't under the plastic cover of a surge protector, water will get in and be difficult to unlock. Overall this is what we were looking for and it does the job.
