Review on 🔧 Melling BD417-DBRKT: Enhance Engine Performance with Timing Chain Damper Adaptor Bracket by John Wei

Works great, instructions aren't the best but they say 15-18 ft lbs for cam stop plate bolts only. NOT TWO SHOCK BOLTS. That all the bad reviews break when you go to 18 feet. I was embarrassed removing the inserts as they appear to be molded in plastic there but not there. It's just a metal insert with a plastic insert inside. both must be removed and the gold long screws are not used. I used an old spark plug inserted into the damper bolt hole and then tapped the damper on the table to remove it. Tighten 3 allen cam locks to 18', then a 10mm lock to 18'. 3 hexes have no lock, they may never be pulled out. The lock was then tightened with two damper bolts and installed manually with a hex wrench. No questions.
