Review on Xiaomi Camera Gaming Processor Unlocked by Ma En ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, good quality, not bad.

I am a big fan of Xiaomi products, in particular the Mi Max line. I left with the third Max for a year and a half, I decided to buy a new phone. Criteria - a large screen, decent cameras, capacious battery. Apart from the Redmi Note 8 Pro, there are essentially no other alternatives on the market. I must say right away: I did not expect miracles, they did not happen. Nice, solid phone. The screen is wonderful, the brightness is enough. The cameras may not be flagship, but for my undemanding needs - social networks, cats, a child - more than enough. I was afraid that the MTK would warm up - not at all. True, I do not play heavy games, but it does not heat up at all even in light casual toys. Now about the sad. I still miss Max and I think to return to him. It's about 2 factors. The first is the awkward aspect ratio. I'm still not used to an elongated 19.5: 9 screen. This is not a reproach to this model, now all phones are like that. Difficulty reading and typing. Yes, a sausage in hand does not look as aesthetically pleasing as a smartphone with a classic 18:9 aspect ratio. The second factor is autonomy. The 4500 mAh battery, even taking into account the MTK, shows good overall results. Enough for a day. 8-9 hours of screen. But after Mi Max 3, which lived quietly for 2 days, or even 3 days, gave me 11-12 hours of screen, this is definitely not enough. Yes, we do not live in the forest, the socket is nearby, but it infuriates me that the charge is melting before our eyes. And this despite the fact that I removed all ads and turned off background processes. For some, this will be quite a worthy result, but I speak for myself. Autonomy makes me sad. I'm waiting for Redmi Note 9 Pro to come out, it will have a 5000+ mAh battery and a Snap processor, but the 20:9 aspect ratio kills.

Pros
  • Smooth interface Everything flies Good Wi-Fi, even through two walls cameras Not heated
Cons
  • Battery Ergonomics
