before that I used xiaomi redmi s2, so there is something to compare with. of course, the previous phone was quite good until certain circumstances happened, and now I like this one, 8 pro, much more. everyone complains that the fingerprint is right under the camera, so it's easy to smudge the camera, but I didn't notice this - my finger immediately rests clearly on this sensor, it works instantly, faster than on the previous phone. Moreover, I don’t understand how you can miss when this part is convex, but I go with a thick case, and even still I never miss.

Pros

big screen, nice, good color reproduction, fast, holds a charge for a long time and charges very quickly, stylish design, and in general the phone is a real pleasure. the camera is not 64 mp, but it shoots very well: there is a built-in sharpness, like on an iPhone, the colors are more pleasant (pinkish, not yellow), if you take pictures close up (for example, a flower, but not including macro mode), it will seem as if a photo was taken on the camera, because a certain part will be in sharpness, and already the back petals will begin to blur - it looks professional, there is also a wide-format camera, it’s very convenient, and when shooting a video, it’s very smooth approach, I really like it. the screen is slightly curved, which gives a very pleasant feeling when held in the hand. By the way, about the camera - even in the dark it shoots quite well - you can clearly see the picture. Also, the phone itself is quite loud.

Cons

the built-in camera application, as usual with xiaomi, is complete garbage - the video is shot in very poor quality (everything is fine with the photo), while in any other application the video is shot quite clearly and well. in a regular application, the video, as usual with xiaomi, is shot in crop, that is, the video is added, but in other applications everything is fine, although if you want to shoot in a regular application, then just select x1 (wide camera, but the video will be just like a normal one) . the description says that the phone has gorilla glass 5, but nothing like that - it took 3 weeks with the phone, as a result, there are already pretty decent scratches, so stick the glass right away, and it’s better to buy 3D, because the usual one will seem to peel off, since the screen is slightly curved. the front camera does not have a flashlight, like, for example, xiaomi redmi s2, so for selfie lovers at night, this fact will be a bit of annoyance.
