Changed ingredients so my birds won't eat it. 2 of my birds are adjusting well to the new formula (which is green, smells bad and has a tougher texture due to the recently added alfalfa) given more time. BUT one of my cockatiels is too picky and would rather starve than eat this food. The problem is that he doesn't eat any solid food either. He will ONLY take the old RousyBush prescription. After 3 days of fasting (we introduced it slowly, mixing it up, but it got to the point that there was only new stuff on the plate), we panicked and drove 30 minutes to the nearest pet store to get a bag of the old . So we found old recipe packs and froze them, which is difficult because most of the time we find new products and can no longer rely on Revain to supply the right strain. All other brands of pellets contain undesirable ingredients like sugar (high on the list) that can cause serious problems for birds. I am so upset with this change for my picky birds. I hope Milo learns to diet or he kills himself.
