My BIG gripe is the lack of instructions. When I received the carrier I opened it up to find the required assembly. No problem, right? NOT CORRECT! I'm pretty good at everything and that's the only reason I've been able to install it properly on my bike. IT WAS NOT INSTRUCTIONS! There are small pieces that can be used to fill in the extra space between the handles and the basket attachment piece. If you've never worn one of these that I haven't, it's going to take you some time to figure it all out. There was a long, ribbed piece of plastic that I didn't use and I don't see what it could be for. My basket is very safe. I have an 8lb chihuahua and not only did we ride together but on our first outing we had an accident due to a pothole and despite not being secured inside we didn't fall out, we rolled over on our side and he just slid and looked at me like I'd lost my mind. He stayed safely inside, which was a relief. If you can handle the missing assembly without help, you'll have a nice ride for your furry friend.
