I have 8 chickens and when the weather is good they roam free in my fenced yard eating bugs and taking care of their chickens in nature. That changes when cold, wet weather sets in and they may not be as inclined to leave their cozy pen. Enter the chicken swing! I've never tried it and my chickens still don't have it. I've been hanging out in their fenced area and although my family has repeatedly tried to get someone to use it, the chickens aren't interested yet. Maybe if they decide not to go out in the cold, they'll change their minds? The swing itself is good, nothing special. The chain seems strong enough. I'm not sure if my chickens care that there are bells or colored beads in them. I'm glad the swing comes in a 2 pack because I don't find the crossbar material to be very durable. So if they use it a lot in the winter and it wears out, I can replace it with a new one. Guess I'll have to wait and see!
