I removed this thing a few weeks later so it's in the parts bin now. Some people have complained that the light is too bright, it's very bright and drowns out the rest of your motherboard lights, but I'm not complaining about that. The problem is that even with the correct bios settings and turning off the lights when the computer is turned off, the fan runs at full speed all the time. There is only one adapter cable that powers the fan and lights, and for some reason the fan runs all the time. I haven't run any tests, but I seriously doubt it's more efficient than the passive cooler I'm using now that comes with the motherboard. Fan blades are very small.
