Good quality, good value for money. It's titanium, so light, but the black color appears to be a coating that will wear off over time. The clasp is a bit finicky, but once you close it, it feels like it stays closed while you wear it. The small clips that attach the strap to the watch work very well, as do the Garmin clips. Eventually I found out that removing the group size links is actually quite easy. The links are held together with those old-fashioned springy watch pins, and they come with a few extras in case one pops out of your hand and flies across the room and you lose it. There is a small tool to pop out the pins, but assembly requires some dexterity. I just hold the stylus with a small tool, then slide the link halfway over the stylus, pull out the tool, and then slide the limb all the way over the stylus until I hear a faint, springy stylus sound. in place. In total it took about 10 minutes to remove 6 links and assemble the band. The nice thing is that there are both full and half size links so you can find the right size. This is important if you want the watch's heart rate monitor to work.
