Window has not always been raised, has been raised several times. I was nervous about replacing myself as I'm not a person who repairs cars myself. Auto repair specialists charged upwards of a few hundred dollars for repairs. So far so good, it's only been a few weeks so I'm giving it 4 stars. I watched a short video on the A1 car page, it seemed easy and decided to take a chance. It was easy to replace, took less than 1/2. The window goes up and down as it should so far.
