so I bought it as a fallback but one thing I don't like is that it doesn't have rubber rings to fill in the gaps when you latch it. So I could hear the trailer rattling and clattering on every bump in the road. I was afraid the thing would break or I'd lose my pendant. I didn't send it back because I went to the hardware store and bought rubber rings to fill in the gaps between the latch head. It was obvious when we were on the road, and when we pulled onto the highway with miles of farmland - it got obnoxiously loud. We deal with this as we drove at night and nothing was open. ahh!
