this is a replacement
the first set i failed in every possible way good people sent a replacement after i bought a replacement from another supplier they were white it is blue- purple as color is better BUT another company sent a terminal block which I have used on theirs so much nicer if you are connecting to a 12v RV system. DO NOT trust the tape. I've also replaced the duct tape and love the brightness and ease of installation of the wiring block. Don't trust the tape, if you use double tape, add glue.2. Get the wiring block 3. Follow the installation instructions carefully, unfortunately they are not provided to us. i love blue
