Review on 🚙 CURT 13392 Class 3 Trailer Hitch for Jeep Wrangler JL | 2-Inch Receiver, Black by Jarom Bulles

I just installed this hitch on my 2019 Wrangler Sport S 2 Door V6 Manual Transmission. The quality of this clutch is excellent which is typical of my experience with Curt products. Very good welds and excellent powder coating. My Jeep was very tight on the chassis cross member, so I had to jack the hitch up and use a large demolition hammer to make fine adjustments. I don't see a tight fit as a disadvantage as I believe a tighter fit is better than a looser one. All of the bolts went easily through the holes in the frame except for one that was lightly tightened. I didn't have to widen the hole, but I just "tightened" the screw in the hole and it went all the way through with no issues. Speaking of bolts, I was impressed that Curt supplied high strength class 8 bolts in yellow. (Gold) electroplated. Many hitches come with class 5 bolts, which will do, but the stronger the better. I didn't have to drop the muffler to install the hitch as instructed. However, the torque wrench was very tight on the screw heads. The only problem I had was when I first opened the box and checked the contents. The towbar comes with a plastic bag containing the hardware (4 each of bolts, flanged nuts and washers) and instructions. When I opened the bag I saw that the seal on one end was not fully closed resulting in one of the washers being missing from the bag. I checked under the bottom flaps of the box and found it there, so no big deal. If you are looking for a tow bar for your Wrangler JL 2018-2019, this is the one for you.
