I bought this pen for a quick/small grill and found the pot to be about 3 inches deep, very similar to the tofu stir pot when I was traveling in Korea. So I followed the recipes to make a pot of tofu at home. The heating is very good, the food was ready in 10 minutes. One more thing for the user: the pan has a medium wax coating, you will need to run the pan on high in the dishwasher twice yourself or boil a few cups of water to remove the wax coating. Otherwise, the smoke will become sticky during the initial preparations. There is a document in the user manual that states this, but I almost ignored it.
