Suncast Kennel - Made in the USA

I have a Suncast Storage Garden Bench that has held up well in my desert climate. After having good experiences with this product, I bought a smaller version of this Suncast kennel that claims to fit dogs up to 70 pounds. When our dog recently came home from the shelter, I found that at 65 pounds he was too big to comfortably (not impossible, but snugly) fit in this model. In addition, the smaller kennel had roof damage that resulted in incorrect assembly. (At the top, gaps formed between two adjacent roof panels that allowed rainwater to seep in.) . That's why I decided to exchange this model via Revain. This kennel offers more space and appears to be more durable overall. This kennel has stickers that you can attach to the post to write your dog's name. After assembling this kennel in the garage, our newfound dog decided to take care of the interior design right away (wasn't afraid to go inside, unlike our deceased dog who couldn't stand his kennel). The downside is that these Suncast kennels are not suitable. with built-in bottom liner (bottom size on this model is 35" x 28"). It would have been nice if an insulating pad was included as crate pads and dog beds of this size are hard to come by (most sizes of large dog beds are too long and too short). As a workaround, I plan to add a duvet to increase the padding and insulation. I don't plan on leaving my dog outside—certainly never overnight, living too close to coyotes, lynx, and other wildlife—but I do have a sanctuary for them. nevertheless appropriate. This model is attractive and will probably withstand harsh environments better than a wooden kennel. (Additionally, in my experience, wood attracts more spiders than plastic.) This Suncast kennel is also easier to clean than its wooden counterparts, thanks to its plastic construction. By installing it in a location that gets shade midday, I expect it to last for many years.
