See similar product reviews for installation tips. The kit does not include installation and equipment instructions. I've learned that 1/4" rivets are recommended, but it requires a strong riveting tool. I used 1/4-20 x 1/2" hex head screws that I bought at an auto store with lock nuts so they wouldn't get lost. (only about $5). The top left bolt hole is not accessible, so as others have suggested, I used a 3/16" rivet for the last hole my riveting tool could handle. Installation was pretty easy. center of the existing rivets and drilled out the rest of the rivets. There is a screw holding the bracket to the existing motor. This bracket did not come with the new block and will not fit the new block. The motor is slightly smaller than the original, but seems to be sufficient even without the bracket. Turn off the power and tip in the old block and the new one. First insert the lever into the window transition (make sure you push it well and it slides), then lift the new motor mount up until you align the bottom right hole. Insert the bolt from the back and the nut from the front and leave slightly loose. I lowered the window by hand until the rest of the holes were lined up. Insert and tighten the bottom left screw, then I connected the power and raised the window to get to you. right screw and riveted the top left hole as there is no place to put the screw through the back. Rivets would be nice if you had a tool that works with 1/4" rivets. Mine works great, no problems so far. The whole build feels just as solid as the old one except the motor is a little smaller and it's nice would be to get the mount back.
