I listen to CDs on the way to work. My car radio is broken. This player has many functions, the most commonly used are song repeat, CD repeat and random play. The sound quality matches the price. The best thing about the CD is that it's rechargeable and lasts about 5 hours, but if I play it at max volume, it probably lasts longer at lower volumes. There is a rubber pad on the bottom†. I placed it on the dashboard in front of the steering wheel within easy reach and it doesn't move while driving, which surprised me. The only complaint I have is the lack of a wrist strap or grip. It's slippery and I always worry that I'll carry it in and out of the house and drop it (I usually have my phone, drink container, keys and wallet in my hands.
