Review on Dorman 598 115 EGR Tube by Arturo Reyes

It's not that hard to bend the pipe. Welding two pieces of metal is not that difficult. It really isn't. Next time I'll probably do it myself because I think I can do better than the amateur work that goes into it. The welds just look awful. Like someone just held the welder there and let go while they went to the bathroom or something. Slag and popcorn everywhere. The shape of the tube doesn't quite match the original and it took a lot of bending to make it fit. Everything looks right at first glance, but when you try to install it you'll find that it doesn't fit on two surfaces. outer rust. I had to weld the roll on myself because the popcorn's seams were so bad that it left air between the rolls. I've done these EGR pipe changes before and never had this much of a problem. I would ask for a refund but I need the truck to work so I got the job done despite the poor workmanship of this pipe. Buyers be careful. Next time I will either do it myself or buy OEM at their premium price.
