Not the best.: Wood Products

The first picture should show the internal disassembly of the tool. The second shows how he smoothed out the bottom strands of the tips as well. The last photo is the only successful project I've been able to do with it. It was fun while it lasted and the price was great but I think that's probably why they're discounted now. I bought the Vera tool for myself as a Christmas present and received it about two days before Christmas. I had some fun about 30 minutes after receiving it. I'm just trying to get a feel for how to use it and see what all the tips can do. I actually had some free time today so I decided to try a quick project. I finished the little one above, but found I really struggled to fit my tips into the tool towards the end. After I finished the first project I went to attach a transfer tip for the next project and found that my new multi-tool was no longer attaching tips. I carefully followed all of the tips removal and installation instructions while the tool was hot, but it still seems like the interior of the tool is still stripping the threads on the tips. This seems to be a recurring problem for others since Well. Maybe it has something to do with the tiny carvings and the intense heat. Then mixing it with a rotary motion when the tool is that hot can cause problems, but it's not something that should only last a few hours. Or maybe I've stumbled upon one of the broken tools, but I just don't want to find out again. It's also just not convenient when it comes to changing tips. The cable will inevitably twist when you screw in the tips of a very hot instrument. Guess I just gotta splurge and get the ones that snap I'm disappointed that I only managed to use it all together twice. 😞 Save yourself the frustration and keep looking for something that will last longer.
