Replacement for 2010 Ford Escape XLT V6. This is my second TB installed in my car. The first was under warranty during the "recall" "no recall" program. Come on Ford, I've been with you for 20 years. You can do better. These TBs are a joke on most of your current models. The whining is over. I'll preface this by saying that I'm generally not mechanically inclined to cars. I always leave it to the experts, but money is tight and I started exploring how difficult it would be. The part was initially available here. Big. Second, is there a video on YouTube? Yes, and that's great. Third, how many things do I have to disassemble to get to this part? O: Quite a lot. This Dorman TB arrived quickly, was brand new and was perfect for my trip as advertised. Installation was fairly easy even for a newbie and my car accelerates and shifts accordingly again. Doesn't matter. I saved hundreds of dollars by going this route. Highly recommended.
