Bought a 40 inch tall crate for a large dog who had knee surgery. This box is pretty awesome. Well made, durable materials. Easy assembly for 2 adults. What I don't like is the design of the gate as it has a bottom step that is about 7.5 inches high. Not suitable for postoperative dogs with leg problems. The good news is that you can remove the 40" pin on one side of the panel with the gate, allowing the entire panel to fold out without pinching the dog's paw. But then you have to put that long pin back into the four holes to reattach the plate when you put the dog back in the cage. An alternative additional gate design would be great, something with little or no transition. But overall it's a great product, shipping was fast and we're very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended.
