An update to this review (original below). Downgraded from 5 stars to 1. Although this machine made a great cup of coffee, it didn't last long. After half finishing the opening coffee and two packs of Nicaraguan coffee, I brewed an orange pear instead of a white one. According to the instructions, it must be decalcified. Washed with a detergent according to the instructions and water. Made a cup of coffee (more than an hour after I wanted to). Not good to start with. A week later I wanted to make another cup of coffee, same problem. Minerals do not accumulate after a coffee. I think the system has a sensor problem. Two more weeks, same problem. I don't have the time or money to descale between each cup of coffee. Definitely a problem. Very disappointing as the coffee was great. I have an old Nespresso machine that I still use just for a regular espresso a few days a week and it's never had a single problem. At the moment it deserves 0 stars. First review. Firstly, I have an old Nespresso that I have enjoyed using for a couple of years. I'm glad I now have this new machine that makes both espresso and American coffee. With. In addition to being a dual-use machine (espresso and regular coffee) and saving table space, it also boasts significant improvements. First, the water tank is much larger than that of an espresso-only machine. When full, it makes dozens of espressos or espressos + coffees in about a week (assuming 1-2 a day). Second, it's easier to remove, fill and swap out the tank than on older machines. The transparent reservoir makes it easy to see how much water is left before brewing. Nespresso sells capsules in different sizes. Sizes vary depending on the amount of coffee and the type of coffee, from Single Shots Espresso to Double Shots, Short Coffee, High Coffee and what I would call Extra High which is meant to fill a coffee mug to go. Accordingly, the drink holder can be set high for an espresso cup, lower for a "coffee" cup, even lower for a cup, or finally simply removed to place the cup on the counter. That's great flexibility and enough for me to put my Krups K-cup coffee maker in the basement. The pod is easily removed and thrown into a bin that can be removed from the side to recycle the pods when full. The design will last the pods for about a week and features a drip tray to allow the coffee to dry out in the pods and prevent anything from growing that you don't want in the kitchen. The device supports Bluetooth, but after checking with the company, I heard it only works with Nexus and iPhone. I have LG and Pixel phones and I couldn't connect my phone via bluetooth. As it turns out, the only reason for pairing is to update the software on the machine. The only reason to upgrade would be computer problems for which there are no known issues and no updates. Then it seems unnecessary to me and I don't understand why they sell it with Bluetooth with such limited support. But he did no harm. Now let's talk about coffee. Firstly, the coffee shown in the samples I have since purchased is of incredibly high quality. Second, the machine brews the perfect cup every time. The temperature is right and each cup has a crispy crema that varies depending on the coffee. Blending coffee with air improves the flavor experience incredibly, and they got it right. I broke one of the Vertuo (Solelio) capsules. I then brewed the Solelio in an Aeropress. I was literally impressed. Definitely one of the best 3-5 coffees I've ever had. Honestly, I found the taste of brewing in an Aeropress better than brewing in the car. But neither I nor many of us have time to hand brew coffee every day, so I'm saving it for a quieter weekend. But I will share this story with you because it is a testament to the quality of the coffee. All in all this is a great car. The price of the capsules is comparable to competing products, but when it comes to the choice of coffee type (espresso or regular) and the quality, I think this machine is better than K-cup machines.
