Damn good video quality is better than any laptop's built in camera. I tried this camera in 3 different use cases. 1) For a working group meeting. 2) to broadcast a church service and 3) to watch and record myself 3D printing. For breakout sessions, I kept this on the back of my monitor. Better quality than my built in camera on my laptop. However, I don't need a widescreen camera for video calls. Showed too much of my dirty house. In the church it was mounted on a regular tripod and the sound was used to capture everything. Worked very well. Similar to what we have that I already use in the church. It does have a privacy filter, not that we need it for church, but it's nice to have on a work computer at home. Video. The quality was good. Plug and Play worked great, the Pi software found it and used it. I used it with the free mini tripod that came with it. I think most of the time it's going to my 3D printer because that's where it's most useful. If I want to make a family Zoom call when the whole family gets together to talk to the out of state grandparents, I'll use it for that too! All in all, this is a great price for a great webcam. . It just works. looks good and does what it's supposed to. The privacy cover is a nice addition.
