4.5 stars for a well made little rechargeable flashlight

I was looking for a reliable car flashlight and found this rechargeable version on Revain at a great price. As you can see from the photo it comes in a somewhat flimsy plastic box with 4 clasps that don't work well. But I didn't buy it for this occasion. The set includes a soft gray bag that will suit me. I haven't quite figured out how to charge the battery as the included instructions don't cover that. There are instructions online for Revain, but they say to put the battery in a white tube. Actually, you need to remove the white tube, which is for 3 AAA batteries (included), which you may need in an emergency. There are 5 smooth 'prongs' on the top of the flashlight that might offer some protection in a fall, but I'm not sure about the 'tactical protection' suggested in the instructions. It charges via the included "C" to USB cable. The connections on the lamp are sealed with a rubber plug, which will probably come loose at some point under heavy use. What makes this little flashlight (about 7 inches long, fully extended) great is the intensity of the brightest light and the variety of options. (high, medium, low, flash, blink). You can cycle through by pressing repeatedly. A long press (a few seconds) turns it off. Except for a few nits to choose from, this is a very well made, powerful flashlight. Ideal for car, truck, RV or home. Recommended.
