Review on 🔌 Wiha 61620 MaxiFlex Outside Extension by Cameron Novak

Although I prefer this ruler to a folding rule, this ruler does a great job with its slide extension, which comes in handy for precise point-to-point measurements, and I really like this feature. The ruler is made of composite plastic with swivel joints that are precise but still allow for some flexibility. Unfolding the extensions takes a long time (much more than folding a ruler), but the action is positive thanks to the built-in deadbolt locks that keep each extension in place. The slider extension could be stiffer but usually has enough friction if you're careful. The ruler is solid and has been subjected to physical abuse (fall from a height, stress on pivot points, etc.) during my renovation project over the past 6 months but has not sustained any damage. It is calibrated in inches only (no metric measurements) and the markings are clear and contrasted against a yellow background. The markings are embossed and look permanent. I would buy this line again.
