Temperature controller good for temperature controller

I don't think this controller is UL recognized. The temperature controller works great. I have used it with a 15A train heater and the unit, plug and socket get quite hot. I replaced the power plug as it felt warmer than the other parts. I found the 16 gauge wire, which is a light weight wire for 15 amps. Nice controller if they use 14 gauge wire. I would not run any device that exceeds 10-12 amps with this controller.
