Simple and quality product
I didn't know the last time I bought a filter from a hardware store (same brand) that didn't have an o-ring! I was very upset when I saw that. However, he came along and did the job. I've heard some complaints about the gasket being made of felt material, which can cause artifacts in your engine and damage, but I believe the filter protects against this since the oil passes through the center [disclaimer: personal opinion, I'm am not an expert!]. I give 5 stars for the price and quality.
