I've never seen worse! Horrible purchase.

I made sure the markings on the box and the controller were accurate by purchasing an authentic controller. After a month of regular use, pressing on the crosspiece resulted in an increasingly unpleasant creaking sound. The buttons in the right block have distinct responses when pressed and feel different when held; the sticks are set at an angle with respect to the socket; the Share and Options buttons are almost at the same level as the body, which is awkward; the triggers, however, have yet to be found wanting. There is a creaking sound coming from the seams where the two pieces of the gamepad meet. Problems arise when trying to connect a Bluetooth gamepad to a PC; without third-party Xbox emulation software, the gamepad won't be recognized. After then, most games will display Xbox buttons, thus it's helpful if they support icon switching. Games available on Steam simplify matters significantly because of their in-built support for gamepad configuration. The touchpad hasn't helped me out much, the backlight only wastes battery life, and it causes distractions in general, so I always disable it. This results in the most ubiquitous gamepad, of middling quality. It's recommended that you check our Xbox controllers for your PC. The left stick eventually became stuck, jerking forward to its maximum setting, making further use of the controller impossible. Despite my infrequent use, it quickly gained traction and became indispensable. Analog sticks did not improve after being taken apart and cleaned.

Pros
  • When compared to typing, playing is far more pleasant.
Cons
  • Issues with PC compatibility, high price, squeaky cross and body, crooked sticks, awkward Share and Options buttons
