My snake had intermittent fever from a short-lived lightbulb.
The bulb was very hot at first. Within a month it dropped to a more desirable temperature. It only lasted 8 months (6,155), much less than advertised. For the past 4 months I've found it to be disabled regularly. I just had to turn it off and on again to get it working again. I can't get it to turn on anymore.
