They make good legs for a coffee table.
Excellent for its price and features for the intended purpose. I have a spare wood countertop I bought from Ikea to turn into a PC table and I made a small drinks fridge holder out of it and so far they have held the weight with no problem. I've cleaned the edges of the wood scraps I left with a router, stained them black using the vinegar and steel wool method, then sealed and screwed to the base and it looks fine. They're about the right height for a coffee table, although personally I'd find the legs a bit taller if the wood you're using isn't that thick.
