nut size 18mm? Come on guys

First the nut needs an 18mm wrench. Who is this size anyway? This is not a normal key size. Second, the nut was stuck when I first tried to remove it. You have to loosen it to get the clutch out. Now it's useless. Can't pull nut off or put back on.
