What a way to heat water. I only used a kettle once before I ordered this one and started using it. This kettle is very convenient to use. Just fill it up, dock and press the power button, and in about 2 minutes you'll have hot water for tea, ramen, and anything else you need. I'm currently a dorm student so it's the little things that really count and it really matters. I found it very easy to use and clean; It has few buttons and their functions are very simple and I can easily put my hand in to clean. Temperature control is very basic, but only in 10-degree Celsius increments, so you don't have full control if that's important to you. Other than that, it's a great kettle especially for your ramen cooking student!
