This tie works really well for my cat. It's lightweight but strong enough to hold a 14 year old kitten I adopted from a local shelter. She enjoys being outside but due to her age and declining ability I only let her out when I'm gardening outside. Before purchasing this product, I used a clothesline on her tie and it was too heavy. The clothesline acted like an anchor and she found it difficult to move. This lightweight and durable tie allows her to roam anywhere in the garden and it's an economical solution. I'll order another section to give her a little more room to walk. I would like to add that a cat or pet must not be tied up when no one is home. A small pet is especially defenseless in this situation. Missy loves to be outside. Thanks from both of us!
