Turn on the power, press the heat button, pour the glue and pop it. ⚫ Battery life appears to be about as advertised. Not picky about power sources; I had it on a 45W charger. ⚫ Magnetic snap-on lid holds 3 extra glue sticks. Pretty thoughtful design.⚫ The nozzle has a rubber cone that you can rest your finger on. It gets warm but not hot. Helps with ergonomics.⚫ So it's a complaint in operation. It's not a deal breaker, but it's there. Without pressure on the piston, the adhesive flows out, but more slowly than with pressure. This makes control a bit difficult. In addition, the piston does not reach a few millimeters of adhesive residue. That means there's quite a bit of glue left between the new stick and the last one squirting out, which isn't what you intended. I don't know why they couldn't get the piston closer to the nozzle to push it all the way out. That is the point. I like its form factor and portability. I've used it for caulking microholes, not crafting, and it's been a blessing so far.
