Review on 🐶 MidWest Homes for Pets Ovation Double Door Dog Crate, 30-Inch: Secure & Spacious Crate for Dogs by Ginny Fidler

Unforeseen issue: The puppy divider prevents the main door from working.

Hello 2020 - We have a Doberman boy. And how. He was the biggest in the litter and doubled in size in 4 weeks. doubled. Serious. And we love it. We continue. I knew it had growth potential so I bought an incredibly large box (48 inch beast). Pros: - Despite its massive weight, installation wasn't difficult at all. By dragging it in place. it took the most energy. Obviously this isn't an issue for the smaller sizes due to the lighter weight. It opened up wonderfully and everything fit as it should. - The partition technically fit in. - The design department thought here because they realized that people can lose their grip on the garage door if a dog runs out, which can result in injury if the person is surprised and drops the garage door prematurely and lands on the pup. This is a heavy door and it is no light weight to drop. These secure latches are a great choice for security. Note that the large ticket point here (the Ovation garage elevator door) DOES NOT WORK as the partition prevents the door from raising and lowering. Buying a 48 inch cage meant the side swing door would have a very wide footprint. I thought the garage door script looked like it could save space. Unfortunately, I won't find out about this for some time yet, as I will be using the puppy mat to divide the cage into a smaller space until the end of the training. If I knew that, I might go the other way—or with the Ovation machine, which has a garage slide on the short side of the box. Then I could at least use this function. Even with the baffle, which I should have figured out before buying, it can't be reattached if the box bed is surrounded by a raised pillow. So don't expect to use a box bed with raised sides - it blocks the divider. - The weight. That's right, I have almost the largest box. However, this becomes apparent when you attempt to raise the side of the garage door. you lift a lot of weight It can be done, but it will take more effort than you might expect. Safety locks are necessary, but they lock every time and can become annoying when trying to open the door quickly. I think I would say the paper ovation door is a great idea and probably works well in a smaller size, but if I had to do it again I would choose a different drawer. I could even choose a different style of applause where the garage door is on the narrow side instead of the long. At this size and orientation, it's heavy, bulky, fiddly in the crate and eliminates the puppy divider, and the puppy divider eliminates the door. In this case, the increase in costs was not worthwhile.
