I love this thing. My daughter just started driving and I wanted to help her make the right choice and be safe. This device is perfect. Set up was a breeze. Download the app to your phone, create an account, and then connect the device to your vehicle's OBD port. It's not like this. Once set up, you need to drive around a bit to sync everything and start working. Don't worry if you don't see your travel dates. It will appear after the installation and synchronization is complete. Travel dates are comprehensive and accurate. I will not waste time listing all available dates as they are listed in the product description. Suffice it to say that it does everything it claims to do. No problems with the app. Everything always seems to run smoothly and the information is up to date. Why 4 and not 5? I turned on the extreme braking and extreme acceleration warnings. I intentionally braked hard and accelerated hard, but didn't get a warning. I was able to get in touch with someone from Bouncie via chat and they told me the machine was still syncing and warnings would eventually pop up. I will change the rating and update this review when this happens. It also integrates well with Alexa. I've tried it and it works, but that's my take on it. I'm not sure how often (if ever) I will be using Alexa with this device. Overall, it has all the features one could wish for. One of the biggest bonuses is the monthly monitoring fee. It costs $8 per month, which is significantly less than the $20-$25 most other GPS/data trackers charge. They also have a 3 plan for $20. For that price you could connect all your cars. At the moment I'm only using this for the car my daughter drives, but I may decide to add my car later. Bottom line, I'd recommend it. it goes up to 5 stars. As mentioned in my original review, my only issue was that I didn't get any warnings for hard braking or acceleration. Bouncie support told me the sync was still in progress and it was. Now I get notifications. Everything works fine including geofences. When my car enters or exits the driveway, exits or enters the school, I get an alert. Helps me know my daughter got to and from school safely even when I'm not home.
