Used this post bunion surgery--did not fit over the surgical bandange, but theres many weeks afterwards while the foot is still tender and swollen that these things work the best--not too thick, not too sharp and not too cold when worn over a sock. I have a US ladies 8 foot and they fit not too tight over a sock--tight or heavy would hurt. Two pack means I can switch them out--one lasts maybe 30 minutes at room temp, but that's about right. I would totally recommend these, I wish I'd had them for the first foot surgery--they go over the side and top of the foot really nicely without pulling or being too tight or heavy.
