Review on Mengshen Blocking Anti Hacking Protector Wireless by Kyle Collins

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Probably ok for keychains.

I put the key fob in the inside pocket, went to the car - but the car remained locked, the key fob is not visible. It is necessary to put the key fob in the inner pocket where it is surrounded by a gray conductive fabric. Putting the key fob between the lining and faux leather case provides no protection, no signal blocking. Without test equipment, I can't tell if it offers enough protection to survive a hacking attack with a powerful, sensitive transceiver, but it's definitely better than nothing. On the other hand, while the case is too big for my keychain, it's too small for my iPhone 5 - and too small for an iPhone 6. The rounded bottom is odd for a cell phone - no modern smartphone has a rounded bottom. This should be marketed as a keychain signal blocker, not a cell phone blocker. It would also be better because car key hacking is well documented and the need for cell phone shielding is dubious at best. If you don't want your cell phone to respond to signals, simply turn it off.
